Ode to a Drawer

27 Feb

You’re deep and wide

You’re composed of five equal size sides

You’re the largest and strongest of three made from the same tree

You’re a striking mahogany

You’re unique with your half-moon shaped brass handle

You’re the safe-keeper of things dear to me

You’re a trusted fixture

You’re my earring drawer

I belong to Faith Presbyterian Church in Greensboro , NC. Do you know much about Gilbert Tennant? Quite a Pres evangelist minister. This reminds me to organize my dresser drawers.

Tennant’s name does not ring a bell. However, that does not mean I haven’t hear of him. It just means I have I have not been significantly influenced by his life story and work. Now that you have mentioned his name, I will take time, God willing, to learn about him.
Thanks for taking time to read my post and leave a comment.
